My First Easter!
April 8th, 2012
I’ve been busy going to Mexico, California, learning how to stand up, point at things and scoot around. Sorry I haven’t been posting. Here are some pictures of the last several months.

Hi guys! I haven’t posted in awhile. I’ve been busy with 14 hour flights, meeting grandparents, meeting friends, roaming around Tokyo, and being very demanding of Mom. It’s fun being baby!
Grandma!
Grandpa!
Yuko! Yuko is Mom’s friend who is responsible for Mom and Dad meeting in the East Village back in the old days. I think it was around 2001 before airplanes and iPhones existed.
These are Mom’s Japanese New Yorker friends who moved back to Tokyo.
These are Mom’s old friends from Junior High School.
Mom loves Japan. So do I!

On Thursday night, I went to check out my friend Jason’s photos in a group exhibition, “I Bleed Black”, at Marianne Boesky.
On the way home, we walked down the High Line.
It’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever had dinner.
I love this city!

Today we went to Kinokuniya, which is Mom’s favorite store.
Then I had to change my diaper, so we found a little shaded park, with a Tony Smith sculpture.
Then we walked down to Madison Square Park. There was a giant head sculpture there. Adults make weird stuff.
Then we walked down to Washington Square Park where Mom and Dad used to hang out during their younger days. They didn’t know each other back then. They both said it’s so clean now compared to what it used to be like. Less drugs, more children. The very first thing Dad ever experienced of NYC in the Summer of 1998 after ascending the stairs at the West 4th subway stop from California were these arches. He recognized them from some film called “When Harry Met Sally”. After 5 minutes of walking towards the East Village to meet his friend, he knew NYC was the place to be. He met Mom about 5 years later and they’ve been here ever since.
On the way back to the train, we passed the New Museum where Dad says one day his paintings will be shown. Dreeeeeeeaaaaaamer!
By the end of the day, I was very tired, so we had to go home, but I really love this city. I didn’t cry all day, like I do at home in Bushwick.
